Avocado Tuna

Avocado Tuna Bowl

My sister found this recipes years ago and we have been making it as an appetizer for parties and also as an easy, healthy meal over quinoa with some veggies like a poke bowl. It is dairy free and gluten free, always a crowd pleaser and satisfies with a healthy and fresh taste.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sushi grade tuna
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1/2 – 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Directions

Cut tuna into bite size pieces. Sear in a small amount of sesame oil if desired, or leave raw.

Combine with sesame oil, coconut aminos, avocado and sesame seeds.

Chill and serve.

Can be served with crackers or tortilla style chips as an appetizer or with veggies and quinoa as a meal.
