

Roasted Broccoli
I used to make this for my husband and myself and also make a batch of steamed broccoli with butter for my kids because they didn’t like roasted broccoli. I got tired of making two batches of broccoli so I finally started making them eat their broccoli roasted too. They have finally decided they prefer it this way! It has a lot of flavor and actually has a little crunch if you eat it right away.
*This can be DAIRY FREE if you omit parmesan and it is GLUTEN FREE*
Ingredients
- 2 broccoli heads
- 2 garlic cloves or 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- juice of half of lemon or 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- parmesan
Directions
Cut broccoli to desired size.
Sprinkle broccoli with garlic, salt and pepper and parmesan.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Massage oil and spices into broccoli.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25-40 minutes.
Squeeze lemon juice on broccoli and serve. This tastes best right out of the oven.
