Honey Mustard Salmon
This recipe is a favorite from my first favorite cookbook, The Bride and Groom First and Forever Cookbook. I cooked a lot of dishes out of that cookbook; it played a big role and me realizing how satisfying and fulfilling it is to cook a delicious meal from scratch. This salmon has been a family favorite for years.
Ingredients
- 2 skinless salmon filets (8 ounces each)
- 3 tablespoons stone ground mustard
- 2 tablespoons sour cream or creme fraiche
- 2 teaspoons honey
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- 10 buttery crackers like ritz, crumbled
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
Combine the mustard, sour cream, honey and dill in a small bowl. Spread the mixture on top of the filets.
Sprinkle filets with the cracker crumbs just before placing in the oven.
Bake until salmon is barely cooked through (or however you like it), about 12 to 15 minutes.
