The Elliott Homestead Mango Sorbet
This sorbet from theelliotthomestead.com is so good and so easy! It is fresh tasting and has no artificial flavor or sugar!! I can’t eat ice cream shop sorbet anymore because I can taste the artificialness of it so I’m so glad to have this alternative! I didn’t change her recipe at all, but I just like to have our favorite go-to recipes here on my blog for quick reference! I hope you enjoy! And.. go check out Share Elliott’s blog at theelliotthomestead.com. It is so inspiring!
Mango Sorbet
Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen mango
- 1/4 cup raw, unfiltered honey
- large pinch of Celtic sea salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- optional: The original recipe calls for a cookie crumble topping, which would be delicious too! Or try my homemade granola as a topping!
Directions
Let mangos sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow them to soften a little.
Add mangos, honey, salt, lemon juice and orange juice to a blender and blend or puree until smooth.
Scoop into bowls and eat immediately or scoop into a freezer safe container and let freeze a little more to get a more firm consistency.
Enjoy!!
