


Tzatziki Sauce
Go to alexandracooks.com and for more pictures and more information. This sauce was really delicious. I was out of cucumbers, so I only had 1 really small one and it was still good! The whole family was surprised at how well this dish turned out! We don’t normally cook Greek food, but it was really good and quick!
*This is GLUTEN FREE*
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 clove garlic or 1/2 teaspoon minced
- 1 tablespoons fresh or dried dill, more to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed
- 1/2 teaspoon course sea salt plus more to taste
Directions
Grate the cucumber coarsely on a cheese grater.
Transfer to a bowl and drain. Squeeze out moisture and let drain for about 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, stir the cucumber into the yogurt, along with the garlic, dill, lemon and salt.
Adjust to taste with lemon juice and salt.
