Spicy Mayo
Adapted from halfbakedharvest.com
We love a spicy mayo on our burgers and sandwiches. I had some leftover from burgers over the weekend so I’ve been putting it on my kids sandwiches for lunch and they love it! I made street tacos last night, but I ran out of the sauce so I put this spicy mayo on my street tacos and it was so good!! And… I wonder why I don’t look like a super model?? I just like good food. Try this spicy mayo – it is very versatile and keeps well in the fridge.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup avocado oil mayonaisse or homemade
- 1-2 teaspoons organic bread and butter pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder (regular chili powder will work too)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne plus more to taste
- salt to taste
Directions
Mix ingredients in small bowl and serve on burgers. sandwiches or street tacos. Or anything that floats your fancy.
*NOTE: lately I’ve been using a large measuring glass measuring cup to make my dressings. I like that I can pour from the spout into what I’m serving it in and it’s large enough to whisk my ingredients. This time, I used a glass bowl with a lid and served it in that and saved it in that too. Easy.
