Lemon-Tahini Dressing

Lemon-Tahini Dressing

From alexandracooks.com. This dressing is divine. I have eaten it as a salad dressing and even as a hummus like sauce on a sandwich. My favorite way to eat it is over a quinoa bowl with lentils, maybe some sausage, veggies, such as cucumber and grape tomatoes and basil or cilantro. Yum!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup well stirred tahini
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water (Add half slowly to taste as desired – you may not need this much water. Last time, I only used 1/8 cup.)

Directions

Add all ingredients except water and stir

Add 1/4-1/2 of the water and stir, add more depending on desired consistency. I like mine on the thick side.
