Sautéed Green Beans

These green beans are so good and so easy. The original recipe is from alexandracooks.com. They are a new go to for us because they take about 10 minutes and my whole family likes them.

Garlic Butter Sauteed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces (approximately) green beans
  • 4 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 garlic cloves or 1 heaping teaspoon minced garlic
  • course sea salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • parmesan as a topping

Directions

Place butter, water, garlic, green beans, salt and pepper in a large skillet and heat to medium/high.

Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

Place lid on skillet and let simmer covered for about 8 minutes or until green beans are cooked.

Once cooked, stir the beans in the sauce, taste and add salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with parmesan.

Serve warm. Enjoy!
